Bring Christmas to Dnipro.

Donation protected
Hello, my name is William Grow and I'm the driver of the Dnipro Express. Together, we're going to deliver Christmas to the Ukrainian children currently taking refuge in Dnipro.

In August of this year, I asked for your help to get school and medical supplies to Dnipro Regional Children's Hospital, and you delivered. Now let me show you the amazing work you did:

In that one trip, we were able to deliver over 200 Kilograms of Humanitarian aid to the residents Dnipro.

To state that another way:
- 31 refugee children in 21 different displaced families received much needed diapers, baby food, and school supplies for the start of their school year.
- 30-35 children currently residing in Dnipro Regional Children's Hospital each received their own stuffed animal toy.
- Dnipro Regional Children's Hospital received 10-boxes of medical supplies, which totaled over $5000usd and included a 12-channel portable EKG machine.

The city was attacked 4-times on the day of our last delivery, and a missile destroyed a residential home not 2-days afterward. You can read through the previous GoFundMe campaign and all 62 updates here: https://www.gofundme.com/f/ukrainian-refugees-and-dnipro-childrens-hospital?utm_source=customer&utm_medium=copy_link&utm_campaign=p_cf+share-flow-1

This December, we're going back, and this time we're bringing Christmas with us.

Dnipro's central location, with regards to the crescent of fighting that surrounds it, makes it a prime location for families to seek refuge. It also makes it a prime target for Russian terror strikes.

We received a list from just over 30 children who are currently taking refuge in Dnipro and it includes their names, ages, and two gift ideas for each of them. We also have a list of needed items from a Physical and Developmental Rehabilitation center within Dnipro. We're making it our mission to deliver every item on those lists.

This campaign will be open from now until the 12th of December. At the closure of the donations, we will use 100% of the collected funds to purchase the following items:

1) Presents for the refugee children in Dnipro and for those at the Rehabilitation center.
2) Listed medical supplies and UV disinfection lamps for the rehabilitation center.
3) A 12-Channel Portable EKG machine for the rehabilitation center.
4) Stuffed animals for the Rehabilitation center to distribute to any children that want or need one.

From there, everything purchased will be loaded in the back of our Toyota and driven straight to the front door of that building.

In the event that we are fortunate enough to collect funds in excess of what is needed to satisfy the lists above, then we will use the extra money to purchase more presents for the children or more medical supplies for the Rehabilitation Center. Nothing collected here will go to anything else. Things like fuel, food, vehicle maintenance, admin expenses... They are our contribution to this drive, and one that we are proud we can make.

100% of what you donate goes to the children and the rehabilitation center that you're donating it to.

During the collection and after the delivery we will make updates to this GoFundMe so please be sure you check in periodically so you can see the amazing work you are doing. If you'd like to follow along on other social media platforms, we have started an Instagram page for the truck here: https://www.instagram.com/dniproexpress/

But the best format we've found to clearly convey the story is still the "Grassroots Motorsports" magazine forum where this all started. Feel free to read it in part, or in its entirety, here: https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/off-topic-discussion/ukraine-refugee-assistance/192402/page1/

(See pages 6, 12, 20, 21 and 25-27 for trip reports)

A few things to note before we go:
1) The dollar amount listed as the "goal" for this campaign is completely arbitrary. We're driving to Dnipro with anything and everything we collect.
2) We do not sell anything and do not profit from any of the links you see posted here. You can click without fear of spam, sale attempts, or subscription notifications.
3) We do not take pictures of the people receiving aid, as we believe they deserve their privacy. All pictures of children that you see (or will see) were sent to us by their respective mothers and were shared with their permission.
4) The Dnipro Rehabilitation center will not be named until after the delivery is completed. Western supply lines are targets for the Russian military, and we do not want to put them at risk. We can say that the staff at this center range from neurologists and pediatricians, to speech therapists and psychologists. They currently treat approximately 250 patients between 3 to 35 years of age, who require treatment for physical or developmental disabilities.
5) We do not take pictures of anything involving the Ukrainian military and do our best to keep things like departure times and route info intentionally vague.

So raise a glass, because here we go. Here's to the uncrushable spirit of the Ukrainian people. Here's to Christmas miracles and getting them to the children who need it the most.

Here's to helping the people of Ukraine find the peace they deserve.

And always, to any Ukrainians or to anyone reading this from inside Ukraine: We know. We're with you. Stay strong. We're coming.
