Help Us Bring Charlie Kim Back to the US for Seminary
Donation protected
Charlie Kim has been one of the biggest role models in our lives. He entered our lives as a high school teacher, but has since become a great friend. He demonstrates all the qualities of a strong Christian man and has always been there for us. Charlie was born in South Korea and grew up in England, but felt that God was calling him to the US for college. He attended Calvin college and after graduation moved to Massachusetts to teach at Whitinsville Christian School. In order to stay in the US and continue to teach Charlie had to go through the Green Card Lottery where a decision would be made by the government to renew his visa or not. Unfortunately, he was not chosen to renew his visa. This means that at the end of the school year Charlie will have to move back to South Korea. The positive news, however, is that Charlie feels the Lord is calling him to go to seminary in Chicago. In order to be accepted, Charlie has to prove that he is able to support himself while he is at school. Our goal is to raise as much as we can so that Charlie is able to come back to the United States and pursue the path that he feels God is calling him to. We are extremely grateful for anything that you feel called to give! Prayers are greatly appreciated also!!! Thank you!
