My name is Marilysis Saldivar, and I am a United States Citizen and proud daughter of Celio Esparza-Saldivar. My father, Celio Esparza-Saldivar, was recently detained by ICE on his way to work on June 23, 2025. Our family is heartbroken and overwhelmed as he is the backbone of our home. Celio is a loving dad, a hardworking man, and someone who has always gone above and beyond for his family and community. Now we’re doing everything we can to bring him back.
He helped raise not just us, but others in our family too. He’s the kind of person who always steps up, helping neighbors, fixing things, giving without expecting anything back. At home, he supported us emotionally and financially. With him gone, it’s just my mom, my sisters, and me trying to hold everything together, and it’s not easy.
We’re raising funds to help cover legal fees, bond (if granted), and also to help us with day-to-day bills now that my dad can’t be here to help provide. It’s a lot for one person to carry, and we just want to give our mom and our family a little breathing room as we fight to bring him home.
We know times are tough for many, and any amount, no matter how small, truly helps. If you’re not able to donate, please consider sharing this and keeping our family in your thoughts and prayers.
Thank you for standing with us. We’re holding on to hope and believing we’ll have him back home where he belongs.
With love and gratitude,
