Carolina Quintero is a loving mother, an incredible human being, and a hardworking woman who has always done everything she can for her family.
On January 12, 2026, Carolina was detained by ICE in the middle of a highway, an experience that was terrifying and traumatic for her and devastating for our entire family. Despite having an active TPS case, she was told she “should have left two years ago” and was taken to a detention center.
As her family, we are heartbroken and desperate to bring her home. Carolina is not a criminal—she is a mother, a provider, and a pillar of our family. Her detention has left us emotionally shattered and facing legal and financial challenges we are not prepared to handle alone.
The costs for immigration attorneys, bond, paperwork, and other legal processes are overwhelming, and as an immigrant family, we simply do not have the funds to cover everything on our own.
We are asking for any help you can give—whether it’s a donation, sharing this message, or keeping Carolina in your thoughts and prayers. Every bit of support brings us one step closer to reuniting our family and bringing Carolina back home where she belongs.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for standing with us during this incredibly difficult time.
