Hello friends, family, and compassionate souls,
We are reaching out to you today with a heavy heart to ask for your support in fulfilling a final, deeply important wish for a beloved friend, brother, father, and sailing captain, Mike. As many of you know, Mike is a passionate sailor who has spent much of his life navigating the open seas, but due to a recent diagnosis and multiple open-heart surgeries, his time with us is tragically running short.
Mike’s dying wish is to return home to the land of his birth, the United Kingdom, where he can spend his final days surrounded by the love of his family and the familiar shores of his homeland. Unfortunately, his plans of eventually retiring and selling his home in the USA to cover his move home are more than his family can manage alone. My lovely wife, while supporting my desire to return home, has several years of work to finish before she can retire, making the sale of the house impossible for the time being. This is where we humbly ask for your help.
Reason for Funds: The funds raised will go towards the following:
Medical Transportation: Arranging for safe travel back to the UK, including necessary medical equipment and support for Mike’s comfort during the journey.
End-of-Life Care: Providing Mike with the best care possible in his final days, ensuring that he is as comfortable and at peace as possible.
Support for Family: Assisting Mike’s family with the emotional and financial burden of this difficult time, ensuring they can focus on being with him and creating precious moments together without the worry of additional financial strain.
Mike has dedicated his life to sailing, and now, at the end of his journey, he deserves to return to the waters and shores that he has always loved. Your generous donation, no matter the size, will help make this final wish a reality and give Mike the peaceful return home he has always dreamed of.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support, your kindness, and your compassion during this incredibly challenging time. Let’s help Captain Mike sail home, one last time.
With deepest gratitude,
Captain Mike
