Bryan is my husband and was recently unfairly profiled and detained by ICE. He is a full time worker, a loving and proud father, a supportive partner, and a hard working provider for our young family. Bryan has been actively working on obtaining his U.S. citizenship for the last 3½ years.
On Sunday, January 11, Bryan was simply walking through the apartment parking lot to his car when he was suddenly rushed from behind, taken down to the ground, and detained by ICE. He was never asked to show any documentation or given a chance to explain his situation. Bryan was first taken to the Whipple Building in St. Paul, Minnesota. Within about 12 hours, he was transported to the ERO El Paso facility Camp East Montana— far from home, from me, his family, and the family we have built together.
We are setting up this fundraiser to help our family navigate an incredibly difficult time. The funds raised will go toward legal representation to fight Bryan’s case while he is detained. Any amount you are able to give—no matter how small—and even sharing this page with others, will make a real difference for our family. Thank you for your kindness and support in helping us work toward being together again.
