Some places are more than just cafés – they are homes, meeting points, and stories. Tasty Hesty was one of those places.

With nothing but hard work, passion, and the support of his family, Bayu built Tasty Hesty with his own hands. Bayu was the Host of this Place but he is more than that, a talented musician, entertainer and so much more.

It quickly became a legend in Kuta – a place where travelers and locals gathered to share good food, inspiring conversations, and experience the real Lombok.

Everyone who get the honor to spend some time there got caught by the magic of Tasty Hesty.

But then, it was destroyed overnight – yet another victim of luxury tourism’s relentless land grabs.

But legends don’t die – they live on. And that’s exactly what we want to do: Tasty Hesty will be reborn in Don Don, Lombok.
