Bring back our Nissan Leaf!

Hi, my name is Caitlin. I’m the mom of Izzy and Emmy, the two girls in the picture above. Last night, our car was stolen right out of our backyard, and unfortunately, it was our 10-year-old daughter Izzy who woke up to look out the window and see people jumping into our family car and taking off. Once the initial shock wore off, Izzy and Emmy started talking about the personal items that they had left in the car: Emmy’s favorite Phanatic plushie from the Phillies game, Izzy’s brand new bookmark that she got at the Chestnut Hill Home and Garden Festival, (On top of a car that was still being financed) and I started to realize that what these thieves took from our kids was their sense of safety right here in their own home. Now all of that is replaced by the memory of waking up at 4:30 in the morning, going to their window, and watching thieves in ski masks taking off with their parents' car. We’re hoping that with the help from our community, we can get back some of the lost items and help them feel safe in their community again.
