Bring Baby Home: Help Support a Family in Need in Cameroon

Donation protected
In December, when I found myself alone and vulnerable in Douala, Cameroon, a beautiful family opened their hearts and home to me. For two weeks, Mama, Flavi, Crispin, Mimi, and Ghislain treated me like family when I had nowhere else to turn. They gave me love, support, and safety even when they had so little themselves.

This is a family living in one of Africa's most challenging environments. In Cameroon, opportunities are scarce, basic necessities are luxuries, and families like this one survive day-to-day with almost nothing. Yet despite their own struggles, they chose to help a stranger in need.

Their story runs deeper than poverty. This family lost their father in 2016—the man who supported them with what little they had. Now the pressure has fallen on Mama, who strives incredibly hard to provide for her children while raising her adorable grandson Justin. Even with all this weight on her shoulders, she stays positive and optimistic, embodying a strength that humbles me daily.
Now, it's my turn to be there for them.

Mimi, who became like a sister to me, is pregnant and due any day. She's facing this journey alone in a country where single mothers have few resources and even fewer opportunities. The baby's father cannot be found, and without support, both mother and child face an uncertain future.

I'll be honest—this is incredibly uncomfortable for me. Asking for help, even when it's not for myself, goes against everything I was taught. We're conditioned to "DO IT ON OUR OWN," but that mindset leads us to overwhelm, loneliness, and worthlessness—always living to prove something.

But I believe there's something we can all learn from this situation. We must fight the fears that hold us back from asking for help. This isn't just about helping one family or one country—it's bigger than that. It's about helping each other as humans all around the world.

How Your Donation Will Help:
• Baby supplies and essentials (often unavailable or unaffordable locally)
• Safe, comfortable housing in an area with limited infrastructure
• Formula and feeding supplies in a region with food scarcity
• Medical care in a country with limited healthcare access

This family showed me unconditional love when I was a stranger in need, despite having nothing themselves. Your donation doesn't just help a baby—it provides hope and opportunity in a place where both are rare.

My challenge to you: Start asking for what you want, and start giving what you can to help others from your heart with no attachments. When we begin to do this for each other, the world becomes a better place.

There are no expectations, and no amounts are too little or too big. Let's begin to create change together.

This is me taking a huge step into what I'm being led to do, without allowing my own mind and fears to get in the way of this divine assignment of love.

Every dollar goes further in Cameroon and makes a life-changing difference.
Thank you for helping us break the cycle of struggle and create a better world together.
