My name is Kris Richardson, and I am the proud father of my 7-year-old son, Ashton Kristopher Richardson. Ashton is not just my son—he is my world. He is a sweet, bright, and resilient boy who lives with autism and faces challenges with speech. Ashton thrives on stability, structure, and the comfort of home, where he loves playing with his Lego sets, relaxing in his hammock, swimming, fishing, dressing up as a superhero, feeding his pet turtle Speedy, and watching Spiderman and Ninja Turtles. He loves nature and pizza, and his happiness shines brightest when he’s surrounded by family.

Recently, the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County awarded me full and sole custody of Ashton after I filed all the necessary documents on my own, without a lawyer. The judge recognized that Ashton’s best interests are with me. But before the order could be enforced, Ashton’s mother—who struggles with serious mental health issues—left Pennsylvania and took Ashton with her, defying the court order. The last I heard, Ashton may be in Florida or Texas, but his exact location is unknown. Since August 9th, 2025, Ashton has been missing, and I have worked tirelessly with law enforcement and the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County to bring him home.

I have exhausted my emergency funds fighting for Ashton: filing legal paperwork, standing before the judge, and working with authorities. Now, I urgently need help to continue this fight. Donations will go directly toward legal fees, private investigators, and travel expenses to locate Ashton and bring him home safely.
