My daughter Alexandria & her daughter's father have been separated since March 2023. Alexandria has been taking care of Amaya primarily by herself where she received little to no help from dad. Alexandria recently filed a DV harassment case against dad & lost that case & Alexandria filed to have a change in custody. Because Alexandria did not have an attorney, the judge did not give her equal treatment as Amaya's dad. Amaya was diagnosed with Autism during an IEP where Amaya was enrolled at Los Medanos Elementary school in Contra Costa County. Amaya was receiving speech therapy twice a week & Amaya was going to start ABA Therapy within the next month. The judge removed Amaya from Alexandria's care without physical evidence of her being an unfit mom and made her a weekend parent. Removing a young child from a mother is detrimental. A child needs her mother. We are raising money so Alexandria can try to file an appeal and seek to get her daughter back in her care.

Please, anything helps to get my granddaughter back with her mom.
