Bring Alyssa Home Fund

How to begin? We have struggled with whether or not we should even do this. Do we share and ask for help? Handle our business privately? But at the end of the day, our concern is the baby, so we do what we must.
We were contacted 4 weeks ago by Clark County Child Services in Nevada concerning a 1 year old little girl that may be our grandchild. Long, heart breaking story shortened...DNA confirms that baby Alyssa is our grandbaby and we need to travel to Nevada to pick her up before she enters the Foster System permanently. She is currently in protective custody and we have limited time. We must pick her up prior to August 3.
Originally, Clark County was going to assist with travel, but that is no longer the case. The news of this came just days ago and after we've already spent so much in baby furniture, clothes, car seat, etc in order to prepare for Alyssa's arrival. Now, we must come up with air fare and hotel for a couple of nights. Airfare and hotel is expensive and someone must travel with me. I'm facing two orthopedic surgeries starting next month and will need assistance due to my lack of mobility.
We are everyday, hard working folk just like everyone else out there. Family is everything to us and this baby deserves to be with family safe, secure and most of all, loved.
We greatly appreciate any and everything that you can do. And if you can not assist, then please keep us in your prayers.
If anyone needs to verify the validaty of our situation, please email me using the link on this page. We will gladly put you in touch with the Clark County Nevada CPS worker on the case.
Thank you
