Baltimore Art Gallery Mural Project
The Baltimore Art Gallery resides at 855 W 36th Street, on the historic "Avenue" in the Hampden neighborhood. We love our neighborhood and our block! And we have a plan to hire Gary Mullen, a local Baltimore City muralist and former BAG artist, to paint a mural on the top half of the building. The mural will bring the beloved pink flamingo back to prominence on the Avenue and add artistic charm to the neighborhood. Our planned mural will be next door to another landmark mural of the Maryland flag, painted on the former Baltimore in a Box building.
