Brighter Kids

Hi, we are Ana and Renata from Mexico and we are currently volunteering at Brighter Kids - Daycare & Nursery School in Arusha, Tanzania with the sweetest, brightest kids (2-6 years old). The Director of the school told us that they come from households with very
 low resources which means they cannot get a proper meal from their families everyday, most of them are sent to daycare with no food in their stomach and they are picked up until 1-2 pm, which results in ~7 hours without eating. This is why we are doing a fundraiser to buy 60+ laying chickens for the school + expenses such as weekly food for the chickens.  They have a space where they can keep them and this way they can provide eggs for the kids as lunch every weekday at school and ensure that at least from Monday to Friday they get 1 proper meal each day. A good quality laying chicken is around $20 USD and it would mean the world to us if we could achieve this goal for them and it would mean a better life for them. All the funds will be directed to the Tanzania Host Experience (T.H.E) which is the organization with whom we are volunteering, who will help us to buy all these laying chickens and delivering them to the Brighter Kids Daycare & Nursery School.
