Brightening Akhil's Future: The Quest for a Service Dog

Dear Friends and Family of Akhil:

Thanks for visiting this page. We are raising funds for a service dog for Akhil! All the money raised here goes towards the cost of getting the service dog through Heeling House, the non-profit organization we are working with that will train and pair a dog for Akhil. Having a service dog would greatly benefit Akhil! A service dog would help Akhil gain more independence, act as a bridge for Akhil and the surrounding world, facilitate better communication and provide Akhil with unconditional love and friendship.

As his family - we know we are biased - but Akhil is a truly amazing human - a kind and funny soul, who is incredibly generous with warm and loving hugs. His infectious laugh, love of pop music and commitment to eating at least two apples a day brings so much brightness to our lives! We hope a service dog will help Akhil thrive as he navigates the ups and downs of life.
