Hello. I'm Julie. I have 4 kids altogether, and 2 of them are grown. My youngest boy is in 12th grade, and I have a 12-year-old autistic, non-verbal, amazing little girl named Minka. I would love to be able to show her the world and get a talking tablet for her instead of a little phone. She doesn't get to go to school, and when she tried it, it didn't end well at all, so she stays home. She wants friends, but people here look down on her and take their kids away as soon as we arrive, so she doesn't ask to go to the playground anymore. I'm wanting to raise money to help us give her a better life and show her people do care and she does have friends.
