This holiday season, Alex’s Way at the Schuyler Inn, an Altamont Program, is bringing hope and joy to families in need right here in the Capital District of New York. For the past four years, we’ve been keeping the spirit of the season alive for children in the Schuyler Inn homeless shelter through heartfelt traditions like cookie decorating, holiday crafts, and festive movie nights.

This year, we’re going even further. We’re committed to

ensuring every child in the shelter receives a brand-new pair of shoes—a gift that brings dignity, comfort, and a sense of care during these challenging times. We have partnered with Fresh n Fly right here in Albany to make this happen! A $55 donation will ensure each of the 148 children in the shelter has a brand-new pair of shoes and a cookie decorating kit!
