Bridge the Gap for Brian Bates' Recovery

I want to introduce my brother, Brian Bates, who finds himself struggling with a cancer diagnosis and the treatment he needs. In the aftermath of a car accident, X-rays showed a mass in his lungs. He started having breathing issues shortly after that.

He recently started treatment which has left him unable to work currently. Financially things are starting to slip and we are hoping to forestall a situation that can only contribute to declining health.

Brian has worked hard all his life. I’ve never known him to slack off. Unfortunately, he hasn’t had the good fortune to have decent benefits like health insurance for much of his work life. He managed to fight off cancer previously without insurance which of course has resulted in lifelong debt. He does have health insurance in his current job and a wonderfully supportive employer. Even so, this time around can only be harder without some relief.

We are working on getting him the benefits he is entitled to and we need to help bridge the gap. Anything you can do is much appreciated. Thank you.
