My dear friend of many years, Nelson Demiranda, experienced a terrible fire at his home last Thursday, July 11. Fortunately, he and his wife are ok, aside from some minor burns. The damage is extensive, and the road to rebuild will be long. They are currently staying in a hotel and will hopefully have a timely response from the insurance company, however, there are many expenses they will incur in the interim. I am compelled to help them and feel an obligation as a friend to reach out to anyone who might be so inclined to do so as well. The funds will allow them to bridge the gap as they try to figure out what steps to take in the process of returning to some sense of normality. Any contribution at all would be very much appreciated.
