Brideswell Village Enhancements 

Brideswell Tidy Villages committee recently applied for works to enhance he public amenity area with seating, picnic benches and gazebo's as well as footpath enhancements. We were also successful in securing funding for Christmas lighting for the village. This new upgrade will be monumental for our village as well as surrounding areas that will benefit from its enhancements. Work has already started on upgrading of our footpaths.

The Total Project Cost is close to €30,000. Grant Aid towards the project from Roscommon County Council, Department of Rural & Community Development is really appreciated and we thank everyone for their support in applying for this funding.  

The Covid 19 Pandemic may have delayed the project and hampered our fundraising ambitions but we are determined that the future is bright for our village and these enhancements will be at the very heart of that positive future!

The project will be complete this December.
