We are raising money to get someone in the State House who has a proven track record to get things done! But as you know, getting the word out and running a successful campaign takes money, and lots of it!
Marian Spencer said it best when she said:

Brian doesn't just talk the talk, he walks the walk.
When it comes to social and economic justice, Brian has been there, done that, and has the scars to prove it. This is what makes Brian a true Progressive to the very core of his being.

Here are just some of the many ways that Brian has made a difference in the community throughout his lifetime.
· Helped to shut down the Fernald, a uranium processing plant that created health risks for many families. (1980s)
· Opened a homeless shelter (St. Francis St. Joseph Catholic Worker house in Over the Rhine) which continues to offer a new way of life to homeless men nightly. (1991)
· Helped start a prisoner’s rights group and transitional halfway house (Justice Watch) with Rev. McCrackin. (1994)
· Pushed for police reforms and the Collaborative Agreement. (1991)
· Stood against the war in Iraq, fighting to prevent the war before it ever happened.
· Walked door-to-door to repeal Article 12, an LGBT ordinance in our City's charter. (2004)
· Traveled the State to help defeat Senate Bill 5, which would've destroyed unions in Ohio. (2011)
· Recently was a Community Coordinator for the NAACP.
· Recently helped defeat Red Light Cameras, the Trash Tax and the Privatization of our Water.
· Currently hires and trains the urban youth to install solar panels to transition our society to Green Energy and reduce Climate Change.
These are just some of the many things Brian has taken a stand on.

Make no mistake, Brian Garry is running against the rigged establishment, which is why he has not been given favoritism.
There have been quite a few unfair advantages given to establishment candidates, including unfair endorsements and big money donors. Big money needs to get out of politics. People are trying to rig this election by buying it. However, we are still fighting for the middle class, voiceless people, and our environment.
Because of this, we have to look to the people, and NOT big money to fund this campaign.
This means that we have to do this from the grass roots! WE NEED YOU!
Together we can do this! But we must do this together!
