On Friday, July 8th Brian Gardner showed signs of stroke like symptoms while working out at the gym. He was seen at Methodist Hospital and quickly transported to the University of Louisville Hospital for further treatment. Once arriving, Brian sufurred from a stroke and early Saturday morning, had surgery to remove the clot. After many scans , the doctors felt it was best to do a risky surgery to remove a small proportion of Brian's skull to allow for swelling, which helps in the healing process. The surgery went well and Brian is now recovering.
The Gardner family is a faith filled, well loved family and will be navigating an unfamiliar path in the coming months.
