My name is Brian Dang and I am currently a Life Scout in Troop 1004 working towards the Eagle Scout rank. My service project is helping the PADRE (Pediatric - Adolescent Diabetes Research & Education) Foundation (located in Orange, CA) by creating survival kits for the Type 1 diabetes community. As a person who is familiar with Type 1 diabetes, I understand the difficulties that they encounter in their everyday life. The items in my survival kit are crucial in case they are facing an emergency.
