Why are we raising money? In simple terms, it’s because a cause close to our hearts demands action. Alzheimer’s disease touches far too many lives – including those within our Tavern family: our cherished regulars, our dedicated staff, and their loved ones. We’ve seen the confusion in their eyes, felt the heartache in their voices, and witnessed the incredible strain this disease places on individuals and families. It steals precious memories, disrupts daily life, and leaves a void that is deeply felt. Sadly, it is an experience that far too many of us share, in one way or another.

As a place built on connection, comfort, and care, we understand the importance of coming together – sharing meals, stories, laughter, and support. By raising funds, we hope to honor those affected, support research, and help ease the burden of this devastating disease. Every contribution brings us one step closer to brighter days for families everywhere.
