Breen Richard Armstrong was born on January 27, 2021 by emergency C-section at 23 weeks, 5 days gestation. Babies born this prematurely face countless risks, but Breen has kept fighting even in the face of multiple emergencies and surgeries. In the words of his dad, Jon, “Breen is a tough dude!”After his bowel perforated on his 13th day of life, he was life-flighted to Intermountain Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City. Since then his mom Erin and dad Jon have been traveling back and forth between Pocatello and Salt Lake, with one of them always there with Breen. Jon and Erin (and sometimes sister Nora) have been staying at the Ronald McDonald house near the hospital. They are looking for a house to rent so they can have more room for Nora and care-giving family members during this time. When Breen is finally discharged from the hospital, he will need continued medical care, equipment, specialized treatment, and possibly more surgeries down the line. Your support can help this family with all these expenses.
Their friends in Idaho have been following Breen’s story on https://jlasol.medium.com , and we have been desperate to help the Armstrong family. Their medical bills and expenses are monumental, so we’re creating this fund to let people directly help the family. Please donate what you can as often as you can. If you would rather, you can make a donation directly into Jon and Erin Armstrong’s bank account at Lookout Credit Union in Pocatello, ID. (You can call the Credit Union at [Telefonnummer bearbeitet] for instructions.)
Let's help little Breen and his family in their journey!
