October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, and POWERHOME SOLAR wants to raise funds to help this cause. One in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetimes, making it the second-most common cancer among American women (skin cancer being No. 1). While early detection is critically important to saving lives, it would be even better to find a cure. Let’s do what we can to help this cause – we bet you have women in your lives who have dealt with this disease. We’re trying to raise $5000 by month’s end to do our part. If you can give, please do!
We picked the Breast Cancer Research Foundation to receive our funds, in large part because 90 percent of funds raised go to research.
