BREAKING THE POVERTY CYCLE - CoTs Ministries
Help us to break the poverty cycle - no one forgotten
My name is Pastor Mick and I’ve seen things that you can’t even imagine through my work at Church on the Street in Burnley.
At our charity, we want to see the poor raised out of poverty. We believe that poverty is unequal access - when access is raised for everyone, poverty disappears. Whether that be food poverty, education poverty, social injustice.

This autumn, we are launching an appeal to help the children that get caught up in the poverty cycle.
We’ve seen children who only eat at school due to food poverty, and older siblings who go without so younger children get a portion. We want to break this cycle for them and give families a leg up.
The impact your donation could have is far greater than simply providing a meal. It can open conversations, break stigma and have a cumulative affect towards a better life.

I’m passionate about the work we do because I’ve seen it first hand. My own personal story is my driving force. I’ve been an addict and I lived on the streets. I know what it’s like to fall through the cracks, to not be able to keep an appointment or to hold a phone. That’s why Church on the Street works differently - everything is under one roof to make things as easy as possible for those who need help.

In the four years Church on the Street has been going, we’ve helped hundreds of people. Now you can help us help them.
Donate now to break the poverty cycle.
