Breaking Men’s Mental Health Stigma

Donation protected
Hi everyone! My names Jackson Armstrong & I’ll be running all the way from Fort Nepean to the MCG in one day joined by one of my best mates, Michael Vourdoumpas on the 25th of May.

Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Bi-Polar whatever it may be, mental health challenges are a huge part of peoples lives here in Australia. Throughout the last 5 years, l've struggled with Depression, Anxiety, suicide ideation, self harm and suicide attempts and it has played a huge roll in my every day life and is now forever engraved in personal Mental health journey.

We hope that completing this long run will help shine some light on an ever growing issue in Australia which is severely underfunded.

Our charity that we will be raising funds for is ‘The Shaka Project’.

The Shaka Project is a mental health charity founded by someone who had personal experience with mental health and the stigma surrounding men seeking help. The charity was created to ignite conversations about mental health and create a more open and safe environment for people to discuss it. They sell merchandise with the Shaka symbol as a way to start conversations.

Join us in smashing mental health stigma and support this incredible cause!
