“Siamo da due mesi chiusi nelle nostre scatole, solo coscienziosamente e uniti potremo romperle e rialzarci, per questo chiediamo il vostro aiuto, ben consci che sicuramente ci siano priorità superiori ma anche convinti che il Panpot sia parte della nostra storia, della nostra quotidianità e meriti di essere preservato”
Il centro di aggregazione giovanile Panpot, gestito dall'associazione di promozione sociale Attenti al Kane, è una struttura polifunzionale con sale prova attrezzate, aule dedicate allo studio e l'insegnamento della musica e studio di registrazione, situata in Strada di Camminata 40 a Terni.
Il Panpot sta per compiere 40 anni, nasce negli anni ottanta come sala prove e sala registrazione da alcuni musicisti ternani. Negli anni novanta Leonardo Stella fonda l’associazione Attenti al Kane e stipula una convenzione con il comune di Terni che istituisce il Panpot, centro di produzione musicale comunale, si trasformerà poi negli anni in centro di aggregazione giovanile fino al dicembre 2018, quando l’amministrazione comunale decide di non rinnovare più gli accordi attuativi con i centri per mancanza di fondi.
Decidendo di continuare il suo operato in autonomia, l'associazione continua a perseguire l'obiettivo di veicolare la musica come strumento di coesione sociale e culturale. A questo scopo organizza laboratori musicali, mantiene operative e fruibili sale prova, aule studio e studio registrazione, organizza e supporta eventi per i soci e per la popolazione.
Anche attraverso numerose collaborazioni diventate negli anni stabili con l’associazione Ephebia, Arci, il Progetto Mandela, La Terni Jazz Orchestra, il Dalla Republic, Sant’Efebo, Demetra, Blob, La Casa delle Donne, l’associazione I Pagliacci e tante altre associazioni che fanno del sociale la loro principale missione.
Di conseguenza il mantenimento della struttura da tempo viene sostenuto dall'Associazione autofinanziandosi con le sue attività.
Il lockdown ha purtroppo di fatto bloccato queste attività, che verosimilmente ripartiranno in forma ridotta soltanto da settembre. Da questa situazione deriva una forte difficoltà dell’associazione nel mantenimento della struttura e una forte incertezza, nella possibilità che essa possa ricominciare non appena superata l'emergenza sanitaria.
Chi può e lo vuole, può aiutarci con una donazione su questa campagna. I ricavati saranno destinati all'associazione Attenti al Kane per coprire le spese comunque presenti, in questi mesi di inattività e quelle necessarie alla riapertura, quando sarà possibile rispettando i criteri di sicurezza.

“We’ve been locked in our boxes for two months now; only with a common sense of responsibility, we could break these boxes and rise up again. That’s why we ask for your help, well aware that there are higher prioritiesthan these now, but also sure that “Panpot” is part of our history and of our everyday life and that it deserves to be preserved”.
“Panpot” is a youth center, managed by the association for social advancement “Attenti al Kane”. It’s a mixed-use building with equipped rehearsal studios, halls dedicated to music classes or individual practice as well as a recording studio, and it is located in Strada di Camminata 40, Terni.
“Panpot” is now turning 40.His historygoes back to the eighties when a bunch of musicians here in Terni opened a rehearsal and recording studio. Then, in the nineties, Leonardo Stella founded the association “Attenti a Kane” and signed an agreement with the local municipality, whichformally established the “Panpot” as a community center for music production. Later, this turned into a youth center until December 2018, when the city council decided not to renew the implementing agreements with the local associations, due to lack of funds.
Since then, our association has been continuing to work independently and we have been pursuing our target of conveying music as a means of fostering social and cultural cohesion. With this purpose, the association organizes music workshops, retains access to the rehearsal studios, to the music halls andto the recording studio, as well as organizing and supporting events for its members but also for the local public.
All this has been pursued also in cooperation with several groups, which have become solid partnerships over the years, such as “Ephebia”, “Arci”, “Progetto Mandela”,”Terni Jazz Orchestra”, “Dalla Republic”, “Sant’Efebo”, “Demetra”, “Blob”, “La Casa delle Donne”, “I Pagliacci” and many others representative social and local organizations.For this reason, our association has chosen self-financing through its activities as the only possible way to survive and cover all expenses.
Lockdown, due to Coronavirus, has completely blocked these activities, and most likely, we will not be able to start again until September. This situation has given rise to a a strong sense of uncertainty in the possibility that our activities can start again as soon as the health emergency will completely recover.
Anyone who can and is willing to help us, is now able to do it with a contribution on this campaign. All proceeds will go to our association“Attenti al Kane”to cover the expenses due to these months of inactivity and those necessaries for reopening, whenever this will be possible, complying with the safety guidelines.
