Rise Up For Break Free Outreach
Located in the heart of Regina, Break Free Outreach is a community-focused drop-in center working to provide a safe and welcoming space where individuals and families can engage in social activities, form connections, establish meaningful relationships, and build a sense of community. While we go about our daily lives, it is crucial to remember that there are still many folks in our city who have nothing. The reality is that many individuals and families are left wondering where their next meal will come from. Without food and shelter, vulnerable folks are left without hope for a better tomorrow.
Break Free Outreach has undertaken a vital project that will be transformational for the community it serves. As the center works to support individuals and families facing unimaginable hardships, through the provision of recreational activities, support groups, workshops, Bible study, and crafting, the team is also working hard to further evolve its services and have recently launched an incredibly vast project to renovate their space to include a commercial kitchen. With a vision for higher impact and deeper meaning, this newly built kitchen will allow Break Free to provide nutritious lunches and snacks, life skill development related to cooking, and employment opportunities, for folks in the North Central community of Regina. The Break Free kitchen adds an important element in addition to the other vital programs, services, and activities already offered. As the organization continues to evolve, they need our help in raising an additional $80,000 to renovate their building, allowing them to offer a more well-rounded, in-depth circle of support for families and individuals who are on their journey forward to a future of success, health and happiness. As a community, it is our responsibility to link arms and wrap them around those who need it most. Break Free Outreach is not only a building or a place, rather a family and a community for individuals who are navigating hardship and have nowhere else to turn.
With their steadfast belief in supporting the community and their desire to lead with a higher purpose, Jennifer and Troy Denouden and children, have graciously offered a matching contribution of up to $25,000! We cannot thank the Denouden family enough for their great depth of support and philanthropic spirit. Together, as caring and compassionate citizens, we can restore dignity, rebuild lives, and bring hope to those who live daily without the most basic of necessities.
Your generosity and support will make a profound difference in our shared community. It means that together we can create a community where folks don’t have to endure the pain of having nothing, instead, having the opportunity to create tomorrow’s filled with hope and purpose. Whether you are able to contribute financially, or simply by sharing this page, we appreciate you. Your support means the world to us. It means that individuals will have nutritious food, a caring community, and the opportunity to heal and move forward in a positive light.
We thank you for your compassion, understanding, support and generosity, in our pursuit to helping the team at Break Free reach great success in their vision.
