Climbing Kilimanjaro for Men's Mental Health

Hi my name is Jade,

In June, I fly out to Tanzania for 9 days to climb Killimanjaro - the highest free-standing mountain above sea level in the world, at 5,895m.

This will be my second fundraiser for Men’s Mental Health, previously raising £2,000 for Primal Instincts- a men’s mental health Charity founded by my Brother Ricky. https://primal-instincts.co.uk

Since my Brother Ricky’s passing, I made a promise to push myself to help raise vital funds and spread awareness for Men’s Mental health charities, especially those closest to him.

Ricky was 35, a Father of two, Son, Brother, Partner, Nephew and an Uncle. Although nothing in this world can bring him back, continuing as he did, to helping other Men in their times of need, possibly preventing further suicides will mean his death wasn't in vain- just for reference 74% of all suicides are male.

This year I have chosen to raise funds for;

The Breath of Life Foundation-

Their mission is to create a safe haven where men can come together, share their experiences, support one another, and embark on a journey towards better mental health and well-being.
