Hi everyone! 

 

My name is John McCarthy I’m 16 years old, and I’m taking on a big challenge as part of my “Dermot Early” Leadership for Life programme — and I need your help!

On June 1st June , 2025, myself and 7 of my team mates Conor Heffernan ,Sean Traynor,Sean Craig, Joshua Delaney ,Paul Farrell , Ben Donnelly and Tadgh O’Brien will run a relay marathon relay soloing a ball on the Tom Walsh path in Bray Emmets GAA and between each 2k will kick 25 footballs over the bar and puck 25 Sliothar over the bar

Why? Because I want to raise funds for Bray Emmets GAA and Purple House Charity in Bray

Bray Emmets GAA:

Bray Emmets is a local Gaelic Athletic Association club that promotes community, fitness, and Irish culture through Gaelic football, hurling, and camogie for all ages.

Purple House Cancer Support:

Purple House is a Bray-based charity providing vital support services to people affected by cancer, including counselling, transport to treatment, and wellness programs.
