Bransfield Twins

Our twin boys were unexpectedly born prematurely at 28 weeks 5 days. (2 months early by emergency c-section) Judah weighed 2 lbs 7 oz and Jayden weighed 1 lb 15 oz. They were born this early because of placenta complications. Their unequally shared placenta was giving the majority of the red blood cells & nutrition to Judah which caused Jayden to be 2 weeks smaller in his development & severely anemic with chronic lung disease at birth. Both babies have been in the NICU for 5 weeks so they can grow and learn how to eat & breathe on their own. Judah has progressed fairly smoothly and only needs the support of a c-pap to breathe. Jayden has extremely sick lungs & he still requires a much higher oxygen level on the respirator for support. We have a long road ahead before our boys can come home so we can finally all be together. While Melisa has been recovering and spending hours at the NICU every day (thanks to the wonderful daily support from our amazing friends who have helped us with the house, meals & the big kids) Rhett has been working hard, 50+ hours a week. We are asking for your financial generosity to help us pay for medical bills and a much needed vehicle for our family of 9.
