Brandy's Expenses During Recovery

Earlier this month my sister, Brandy Wheat, had her C7 vertebrae bulge and pinch her spinal cord. As a result she lost the ability to move or feel anything from the chest down. Brandy was transferred to Mercy General in Sacramento where they performed neck surgery and removed two vertebrae and fused three together. Brandy has been moved the the acute rehab facility at Mercy General and has regained some feeling, but is still learning how to use her legs again. Brandy's boyfriend, Johnny, was employed as her caretaker and now that she is hospitalized has lost his income. I am asking for donations to help her family pay their bills and to help Johnny to be able to afford to make it down to Sacramento and stay with her while she is trying to recover. Brandy does receive disability, but it is not enough to cover all of their bills. At this point we do not know if Brandy will be able to walk again or how long her recovery will take.
