Hi, my name is Lawrence Whitten and I'm fundraising for my son Brandon Whitten. On May 9th his truck was hit and totalled out in one felt swoop by absolutely no fault of his own. Brandon parked his truck on the curb in front of his house and returned inside to rest. A stolen SUV being driven my a teen was moving at an extremely high rate of speed down his street, lost control and plowed into Brandon's truck, the attached pics show the carnage. Brandon owed approximatley $16,000 on his truck, the insurance company is only allowing him the appraised value of the truck $12,500. So, not only does he not have a truck, but he'll have to pay off the remaining balance, and still have to somehow come up with a new vehicle, which is entirely unfair in my eyes. This money will pay the balance off and give him a down payment for a new vehicle. Also, Brandon and his girlfriend Amanda are scheduled to move from they're current residence in Durham NC to Arizona at the end of July so this really compounds the problem even more so. We are greatly appreciative of any and all donations. Please help us make him Brandon whole again.
