Dear Family, Friends and Neighbors,
My name is Brandon Luba and I am a Life Scout with Troop 905 in Dublin, CA working toward becoming an Eagle Scout. To achieve the level of an Eagle Scout I need to plan, lead and execute a project that is a service to someone in my community.
I have chosen to make 100 knot tie blankets for veterans which will be distributed by the Blue Star Moms. I chose this project because I wanted to help our veterans. They have given so much and I wanted to do something to show support for them.
In order to achieve my goal I am asking for monetary donations to purchase the supplies I need. These supplies are basically the fleece material I will use to make the blankets. My plan is to make the blankets by April 30, 2017. Any additional money collected will be donated to the Blue Star Moms out of Walnut Creek, CA.
Thank you for helping me achieve this goal. I hope each blanket will give each veteran the comfort and emotional support they need.
