I am going to give away as many shirts and masks as I can in the next week. I can print around 15,000 shirts this week and get these messages on people's backs.
Additionally, we will donate over 15,000 face masks to ensure people have proper protective gear.
It costs me about $3.50 to purchase blanks from our longtime local supplier in Oakland and keep my team paid & healthy. To print 15,000 tees, we'll need about $50,000, and that's my goal.
So far I've committed to printing tees for...
- Play Marin via my friend Hasani Dominoe
- The Compound via my friend Set Free Richardson
- The Black Panther Party via my friend and original Party member Saturu Ned
- Suggest someone else we should print for here
I will use all funds donated to this campaign to print and spread a message that calls for justice, equality, and reinforces the fact that Black Lives Matter. And I want these shirts to become a symbol that anyone wearing one is an ally to the mission and the cause.
I'm ready to use all my resources during this current crisis.
So everyone knows, I put my money where my mouth is...
In April, I teamed up with Marshawn Lynch and donated over 75,000 masks to the people of Oakland and San Francisco. All funded by people who purchased masks that we made in San Leandro, CA from our Brand Marinade factory. I diverted profits to my team, the local creative community, and those in need of masks and other PPE.
Some info about what we did in April to get masks and hand sanitizer to help battle the pandemic...
