Hi Everyone!

We are coming together in support of our friends Travis and Katya and their newborn baby girl, Audrey.  Audrey was born with enlarged ventricles in her brain causing her head to grow at an exponential rate. Audrey's medical team and neurosurgeon have decided to perform a surgery called ETV--- endoscopic third ventriculostomy. This will relieve the pressure in Audrey's brain by putting a small hole at the bottom of her ventricles so the fluid has a place to drain. Audrey's surgery is scheduled for January 10th at 8:00 AM. After the surgery, she will recover in the hospital and if everything goes according to plan, she is expected to return home with her family three days later. Unfortunately, they will not know if the procedure will work for 3 to 12 months. According to her medical team, this procedure has a high failure rate, but if it works it will save her life. 

Travis and Katya are dear friends and Travis has been a loving co-worker of ours for many years. They are so positive and upbeat despite facing this extraordinary challenge. This is not the way they were hoping to start their family, but they are doing their absolute best to be brave and strong for their little angel.

We are hoping that we can all come together for Travis and Katya so that Travis can take some time off from serving tables to be with his family for the next chapter of Audrey's life. We know that, as a community, we must help each other when we can.
