Since early 2020, Leigh has been going through this divorce with Jordan. She has managed to keep up with his financial abuse through the court system and continues to fight this legal battle against him for her children.

Since 2022, Timothy Beets has been representing her, and on Monday, the trial starts for the finalization of the divorce and the custody of the girls.

She has been working at Outback Steakhouse for the last two years.

The girls now have two other lawyers that the court appointed to this case because of its volatility, and costs are piling up. There is a GAL (guardian ad litem) and a parenting coordinator who have also required thousands collectively. Leigh has managed to find help over the years to assist her in keeping up this fight, but even now with help, the costs are too much. There are days left before the trial, and payments need to be made for the lawyers to represent her and the girls before Monday. We are asking for help in paying the current bill, the retainer for court, and the last bill that will accompany that. After that, this whole ordeal will be over, and finally, after four years, there will be closure to such a hellacious ordeal.

On top of working and dealing with this legal nightmare, she has gone to and set up all the therapy appointments, occupational, speech, and mental health appointments. She has set up all the medical care, taken care of all the scheduling, attended every single dental appointment, all of it. She has set up Lyanna's upcoming surgery, attended EVERY SINGLE school function, is Arya's homeroom parent, provided them with the only real vacation they’ve ever had, kept them involved with her friends and family 2000 miles away, and provided as much stability as she can.

This is so important to help her pay the lawyer fees, and any amount will truly help.

I love them fiercely, and they are my entire world. My need to keep them safe and protected is the only thing that drives me. They are everything to me, and the end is so close. With just this last bit of help, the WAR will finally be over, and our lives will finally get to start.

Everyone falls on some hardships in their life. Right now our friend Leigh needs some help. 

As many of you know Leigh has two beautiful girls and is far away from friends in family in Oklahoma. 

Leigh's marriage is ending. resulting in legal fees to fight for custody for her girls. Her goal is to be able to get back to the East Coast to raise her children amongst her family & friends. In the meantime, she is attempting to keep the house that the girls have grown up in. Unfortunately, it might come down to her having to move. She would need first and last month's rent plus a security deposit. 

Leigh has been a stay at home mom since the girls were born and recently started working again as a teacher in a CDO program. She is also in the process of finding another job to support her and the girls. 

With funds tight she is beyond stressed and I am hoping we can all pitch in and give her the help she needs. She is alone in Oklahoma and has no help out there.
