Support Holly Garrett's Fight for Life

Story

Aloha friends, I am posting this GoFundMe for the sweetest soul, Holly Garrett. It is with a heavy heart full of hope and prayer that I am reaching out to you on behalf of Holly Garrett and Rock Lund to help them during this difficult time. On June 3rd, Holly gave birth to a beautiful baby girl... Baby is doing well, but Holly has suffered severe complications and is now fighting for her life. Holly and I became very close when I was living in Hawaii. She is like a second daughter whom I love so much, as does everyone that knows her. To know Holly is to know what a pure, joyous, and kind heart looks like. Now, this family needs our help... her baby needs our help, and Rock and Jennifer need our help and we need to ACT FAST. Holly's mom, Jennifer, has flown out to Big Island to be by Holly's side, and Rock is at home caring for his newborn daughter while trying to also handle the hardship of not being with Holly and navigating it all. I am setting up this GoFundMe to help Rock, Holly, and Jennifer with the unexpected financial hardships not only now, but those that are coming medically, emotionally, and financially. These funds will temporarily help Jennifer to stay with Holly on the island and fly with her to the Intensive Care on Oahu and, hopefully, cover her stay, although we have no idea yet how long that will be. And this will help Rock with their monthly bills, supplies, and bring him some relief as he will be unable to work while caring for his newborn daughter and holding strong for Holly during her journey through this. WHEN Holly makes it through this, it will be a very long road to recovery for all. It is in times like these that we are able to come together to help a family in need... for those of you that know Holly, you know that she is a shining light, a positive force, and bends over backwards for absolutely anyone that needs help.
