Hello. My name is Kassandra, and if anyone knows me, knows that Fermin Enrique Chavez Mendoza is a family man. He’s always been there to help anyone, anytime, and always supports the ones he loves. He’s full of life, love, passion and a very hard worker to support his family.
On Saturday, August 2nd, Fermin was stopped by the police for speeding in a construction zone (going 65 in a 55) and ICE came and arrested him because his copy of license was expired, but when trying to explain that he paid for a permit at the DMV and waiting for his license to come in the mail from a hold on immigration, they arrested him and he’s been held at Christian County jail. On Tuesday, August 5th, he was transferred over to Greene County where he will be awaiting his hearing trial in Kansas City, where hopefully the Judge will grant him access to finally becoming a citizen. This is something that he’s been awaiting for, the last 2 years to plead his case in the best way, for his best life. He has, like an american citizen SSC, a drivers license, TPS (Temporary Potected Status from his original country in Venezuela) EAD ( Permission for Work) pays his taxes, and has any other supporting documents that will help his case.
IF for some reason we can’t get him all the attorney fees and court costs covered, he faces deportation- where - since he was First Lieutenant in military in his original country Venezuela, he would be automatically sent to prison for a minimum of 10 years, or possibly even tortured and severely hurt by the Bolivarian National Intelligence who play in effect to Nicholas Maduro (President in office) regime. I’m asking for help from friends, family, acquaintances, and even my enemies to help me afford his big day, so his life will be spared, and he can finally live in peace, in this country of freedom. Thank you for your time and support, and if you can’t support, please share this with anyone that might be able to help Fermin become free.
