The US Border Patrol is often characterized by its ability to overcome and adapt. More importantly, it is highly praised for the manner in which we take care of one of our own. BPA Edgar Urquieta is a husband, father of 3, an agent at Laredo South and a friend to many. Edgar's son, Alan Jay Urquieta (7), recently fell ill and preliminary exams indicate his illness to be Acute Leukemia. He is currently at Driscoll's Children's Hospital in Corpus Christi, TX pending further treatment for an unknown prolonged time. Unexpectedly, the Urquieta family has incurred and will continue to incur expenses no one is prepared for such a medical emergency should arise. Border Patrol family and friends, we ask you to keep Edgar, Alan and his family in your prayers first and foremost.
