The Boyle Christmas Lights Committee is a group of dedicated volunteers committed to creating a beautiful and festive atmosphere in Boyle for the enjoyment of residents and visitors during the holiday season. The committee relies solely on community fundraising and donations to fund the annual display.
The challenges we face this year:
Several sets of lights have been damaged beyond repair by the storms last year, and others are simply failing due to old age. To light up Boyle this year, we cannot just repair; we need to invest in new, modern, and energy-efficient lights that will serve Boyle for years to come.
Due to health and safety regulations and to ensure everyone’s safety and compliance, the installation must be handled by a qualified and insured professional contractor. We can no longer erect the lights ourselves so we need to include this cost in our fundraising”
This is why we cannot do it alone, we are a handful of local volunteers that need the whole community to get involved. Every quiz night, every donation, every sponsored event directly contributes to creating a safe and spectacular Christmas display for our town that we can all be proud of.
