Boxing for M7 Education!

Hi, I'm Avon, and I'm stepping into the ring to support M7 Education.

I have signed up for a charity boxing match with Ultra White Collar Boxing (UCWB) to help raise money for M7 Education - A charity that truly resonates with me. As someone who has never been in a fight of this magnitude, I won't lie I am nervous! But after completing my first training session, I'm fully committed and ready to give it my all. I've quickly realised going to the gym 4/5 times a week for fitness does not compare to the sheer endurance and discipline boxing demands. My respect for professional fighters has skyrocketed.

I hope by doing this I inspire people to take the jump and do the things they are interested in, even if that means taking a ponder outside your comfort zone.

UWCB is one of the UK's largest charity fundrasing events so it's going to be a packed out venue. It's truly amazing to experience a glimpse of a professional fighter's life. Although it's more than just fighting, it's about personal growth, confidence, and community. In the end all the hard work comes back to a great cause.

Why M7 Education:

M7 Education is an eduactional charity that works with state schools above a 30% pupil premium and help fund educational experiences that help both students and teachers. Their goal is to remove financial barriers and fund enriching and educational experiences for all students. From school trips, workshops, or immsersive activities, M7 helps students discover their interests and achieve more.

The charity works with the teachers to ensure the experiences are engaging and aligned with the student needs, whether thats sparking interest in STEM for young girls or helping children explore their artisitic side. M7 Education has provided many unforgettable trips that have potentially inspired students to pursue their goals of something they enjoy.

This mission really resonates with me. Like many young adults my age, I've had moments of uncertainty about what I truly want to do. Even after graduating university, I was still unsure of what to do but had sparks of ambition and curiosity. So having them worry free educational trips can hopefully lead up to a child knowing what they want to do sparked by their ambition, rather than them picking a degree they are not sure about. This charity helps keep that spark alive in kids from the very start, giving them the confidence to dream, explore and thrive.
