A MESSAGE FROM JOSEPH'S MOM, JACQUELINE:
"Thank you everyone SO much for all of the love and support, we are so unbelievably grateful. We are currently in the process of creating a foundation for my beautiful boy Joseph and I am so grateful to our amazing Ashley who got things going. The foundation is in the works as of right now and will be be known as the "Say Hi" foundation. Our mission is to put a smile on a child's face when they need it the most- like Joseph did for us every single day. "Bows 4 Joe" is the first of many projects that our foundation will support and I am so excited to see the impact it will make on the lives of so many; just like he did for all of us. As Joseph taught us- smile & say hi!"
Last year around the holidays my family experienced what it was like to be in the hospital everyday for 2 weeks as my cousin, Joseph Anthony Cinotti, fought for his life. As hard as his body fought to survive he lost his battle on December 18, 2018 to pneumonia. Joseph, a boy of only a few words, had the biggest impact on anyone he met. Whether it be his family, friends, or teachers, just by him looking at you with the brightest smile was enough to make your day. Joseph was taken care of by the most amazing nurses & doctors at Goryeb Children's Hospital located in Morristown, NJ. When I had heard what was happening, a few days later I stopped at a nearby CVS & picked up a teddy bear to put at the foot of Joseph's bed. Even though he wasn't able to tell me how much he loved it (which I know he did) it made me glad knowing the smile I would've seen on his face. Because hey.. who doesn't like teddy bears?? This holiday season I want to keep up that same energy to children that need the same smile Joseph did at Goryeb Children's Hospital. Having a little buddy to help them through their fight whatever it may be, makes the stay a little more comfortable. "Bows 4 Joe" allows that to happen. By donating however much you please, I will buy a teddy bear & wrap a bow around the bear like a little bow tie & donate it to the children at the hospital this December right as the holidays begin. This Go Fund Me was created in order for those that want to help contribute but aren't able to give me a bear physically. You are able to either donate a bear to me or donate money to this page if you'd like! :) Whichever type of donation helps & goes an extra mile to make a child's day a little bit brighter. I started this idea a little early to help spread the word before the holiday's begin to approach quickly. Please help me reach me goal & give back this year! A smile & a teddy bear go a long way !! :)
If you want to send a bear please email this address; [email redacted] for more information!!
