Bowie Gallagher and Crumlin Childrens Hospital
Donation protected
Every once in a while, we hear a story about a member, a friend, that breaks your heart, and as an organization we knew we had to step in. This is Bowie's story..
Bowie was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. A type of cancer that affetcs the white blood cells in the bone marrow. The treatment plan for this type of cancer involves chemotherapy and Bowie is receiving the highest form of it. She has a long road to recovery ahead, with a current treatment plan of two and a half years to ensure she beats this disease and lives a happy and healthy life.
We are proud to do what we can to help Bowie and her family on the road to recovery. We are hosting a charity 11-a-side football match, with all proceeds going toward well needed funds in aid of Bowie and Crumlin Children's Hospital.
We are planning to have activities on the day for the whole family too, so we would greatly appreciate as many people as possible coming down and lending their support to this cause on the day.
The game will be played on the 17th June, at 12pm in Parnells GAA in Coolock Village.
Any donation no matter how small, is absolutely vital in helping Bowie get the treatment she needs.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out!
