Bowers Allerton Hall has been part of the local community for almost 100 years. Unfortunately, Covid-19 and lockdown forced the previous trustees to close the doors.

In January 2023 a brand-new passionate board of Trustees took over the running of the building, but we have also taken on the urgent building repairs and maintenance work needed. We are grateful to the groups who hire out the hall but those are only keeping the heating and electrics running.

We desperately need to raise funds for roof repairs, minor underpinning, new toilets, new kitchen, plastering, decorating, new doors throughout and extra parking, that is just to name a few of the things on the list.

Bowers Hall is a very special building to so many people and the new trustees have got wonderful plans to bring it back into the community again. e.g. Youth groups, tea dances, drop-in centre for the elderly where they can get a warm meal cheaply, dance groups, culinary classes, holiday clubs, the list is endless, but without funding, none of this is possible.
