Botanica Lakes Safe Walk Way

We are looking to raise money to build a safe walk way from Botanica Lakes Community to Treeline Elementary for our kids in the community. We have over 70 kids who walk to school and they have two unsafe options today.
1) Walking up a sidewalk out of our gated community to an 4 lane way busy street (Treeline Blvd) with 40 MPH speeds with no protective railing and no flashing school zone lights.
2) Walk through a cut out bush inside the community from a dead end road, down an uneven ditch, walking up the fence line to Treeline Elementary. Kids need to carry their bikes and scooters along with their school books and no parents can bring their strollers this way.
The Lee County School board has approved this project and once we have funds in full they can start construction allowing these kids to enjoy going to school everyday!! There is no bus transportation since we live so close.
The builder was supposed to complete this project and never did leaving us to worry about our kid's safety to go to school and come home from school everyday!!
