Boston4Brix: Running to Support Suicide Awareness

Hi everyone,

My name is Madison Birge. This year, I’m honored to run the Boston Marathon in memory of Christian Brixius, who tragically passed away from suicide on September 17, 2024. Christian was a kind, generous, and loving soul who touched the lives of everyone he met. He had a deep passion for sports and was a dedicated soccer and basketball player who gave his all both on and off the field.

In his name, I’m raising funds for the American Suicide Awareness Foundation to help prevent tragedies like this and support mental health awareness. I invite you to join me in this cause.
