Hi, My name is Steve I'm the treasurer for the Boston Men's Shed. We are a Charity No: 1208972 that aims to help men with mental help difficulties in their lives. The Boston Men's Shed is a sanctuary for men seeking camaraderie, understanding, and support. In a world that often places immense expectations on men to project strength and independence, our community offers a space for vulnerability, connection, and shared growth. The Men’s Shed is dedicated to fostering an environment where men can break through societies stereotypes, openly discuss their experiences, and find solace in the company of like-minded individuals.

Our platform aims to address the diverse challenges that men may encounter, whether related to relationships, mental health, bereavement, career pressures, or personal development. We encourage members to share their stories, learn from one another, and embark on a journey of self-discovery. We regularly work alongside local charities and community groups. We have sourced larger premises that will enable us to help more people, however it needs quite a bit of work to bring it up to the standard we require. And as our funds are very limited we were hoping that you guys could help us out with this good cause. It is also double the rent we pay currently, but we are prepared to take the risk so that we can grow and help more people in need.
